Did that sneaky leprechaun come by your house?
Did he turn your milk green too?
or use your potty?
...did you know that leprechauns have green pee?...

mean old ladies.
Sometimes I think old ladies forget what its like to have little kids...
They forget what a full time job they are.
They forget they cost A LOT of money,
leaving little monies for everything else.
They forget that its hard to keep up on dishes + laundry
and mopping + scrubbing the inside of the house
let alone keep up with the outside of the house.
They also forget or perhaps they've never been told
to leave Shrek alone when he is working.
And certainly don't come yell at him about the leaves
surrounding his AC unit, telling him its imperative he cleans up.
Because he'll politely tell you that other people have more
important things to worry about other than
whether or not they took their multi-vitamin that morning.
And while the leaves are certainly on the list...
they are more towards the bottom end.
And then it will just get ugly from there.
Don't mess with older ladies and their multi-vitamins.
because THEY. GO. INSANE.
and it usually ends with people shouting
and me crying + apologizing for my ogre husband.
and his ogre-ish ways...

hello there.
One thing you should know about me before we get too serious.
I'm a flake.
[pretty sure I have been since the day I was born]
and it has been 114 days since I visited my bloggies.
[sorry boys.]
So to make up for it, I thought I would tell you 114 things thats happened in the past 3.5 months.
or maybe like 30 cause my life can be quite uneventful at times...
Numero 1: Christmas in Virginia
(I think thats part of the reason I got out of the blogging habit.
From the time we bought our tickets in August to the time we boarded the plane my brain is thinking all things Virginia.)
(All the cousins + Mr. Olivers darling Grandparents + and the two older gals are Mr. Olivers cousins daughters (and sorry Martha-this picture doesnt do you justice...she was talking whilst Mr. O took the photo...she really does have a GORGEOUS smile.)
We flew 2348.07 miles east to Virginia on Christmas Eve to spend time with Mr. Olivers family for the holidays.
2. My {awesome} father in law got a fifteen passenger van for ALL of us to ride around together. I highly recommend it.
3. We froze our bottoms off...but Grady didn't care.
4. The Christmas lights at the DC temple are uh.maz.ing.
5. We got a cow for Christmas!!
Yeah! We really did! and a freezer to put it in too!
(and a fantastic book about food storage,
which was PERFECT seeing as I'm kinda a freak out food storage.)
6. Grady LOVED playing with his cousins.
and I LOVED having older brothers + sisters. :) We miss them all so very much.
7. We flew into Las Vegas on Friday night
and Saturday Morning we decided to get up
and drive to Saint George
to say Goodbye to one of the greatest ladies that ever lived.
and I was sooo very happy we did.
I got to hold my Grandmas hand and told her I loved her.
She told me
"I love you soo much, I have missed you every second since you left."
As the day went on she found it increasingly harder to talk
and she passed away January 3rd 2011.
Her obituary was beautiful.
The funeral was beautiful.
So fitting for such a wonderful lady.
8. Days later my baby turned One.
and because we were so caught up in family things
he got the shaft.
(but to ease my guilt
Oma did make the cutest cake out in VA for him.)
9. We had a pajama party for my other grandmas 74th birthday!
10. Then had cake and ice cream for Bentleys
unofficial 1st birthday.

Thats my dad stacking bentleys new blocks on his head. and my sister ellie and Mr. O's leg.

This was actually a
"congratulations its a girl-and 50% off cause it expires today cake"
we got from Walmart.
Hence the beeeeautiful
"Feliz Cumpleanos Bentley"
Salutation written by yours truly.
Oh and a custom car up there in the corner.
11. I turned 26...blah blah blah...
For pitys sakes I am boring MYSELF!
and I have to go make Pahsgetti for dinner.

Lets just say it was a super 3 months.
and I'll blog more.
I promise.
Holy canole. I only made it to 11? what the crap? I suck.
(Oh but I do have to say "Thanks Pff!" to my bestie who brought to my attention my blog neglect. )
(We made Saint Patricks day shirts last night! )
(and If I was on top of things I would have taken pictures before now to show you how super cute they are. Sorry.)
